Miss Gus Hardin died in a car accident in February 1996 at the age of 50. Gus recorded for RCA in the 1980's recording 3 Lp's and received the ACM Horizon Award for New Artist. Trying to find out info on how many times was Gus married. Which name was used for her funeral. Where was her funeral services held. Facts about the car accident. Why did accident occur? Any kind of facts whatsoever. Any recordings Gus made for any other labels besides RCA? I own Gus' 3 Lp's she made for RCA Victor. I need to know of any other recordings other than RCA Recordings....

Ladies I feel belong in The Country Music Hall Of Fame are Skeeter Davis (I feel Ralph Emery has a big hand in why she isn't in there yet), Dottie West, Lynn Anderson, Sammi Smith, Bonnie Owens, Donna Fargo, June Carter Cash, Jan Howard, Jeannie Seely, Lacy J. Dalton, Juice Newton, Jessi Colter, The Kendalls (duo of Royce & Jeannie Kendall), Maybelle Carter (as a solo artist, "Mother" Maybelle is very much an influence because of being an awesome guitarist), Barbara Fairchild, Jeannie C. Riley, ....plus so many others. I have no clue why so many country ladies haven't been inducted, Dottie West now has been gone for over 25 years, sad, but she has been over looked for so long, so deserving. Skeeter Davis was having songs cross over around the same time as Patsy (who is constantly being named as the first to cross over to pop), but Skeeter did before her as half of The Davis Sisters in 1953 with "I Forgot More Than You'll Ever Know" (#1 country, #18 pop), plus her 1963 smash "The End Of The World", which is still being used in multiple TV shows and films....I could go on and on...

I loved "I Saw The Light" even though the reviews were mixed, I liked it way better than the fictional "You're Cheatin' Heart"!

I've seen worse, believe me, there was a horrible drawing on a Hilltop vinyl Lp, I Can't Forget You, they have Patsy holding a guitar, sitting under a tree, absolutely horrible....https://www.discogs.com/Patsy-Cline-I-Cant-Forget-You/release/2732017

You know, I love Patsy so much, any story I hear about her is my favorite. But Patsy is someone who every once in a while, you hear a "new" story and you marvel at the fact you have heard something "new". I truly wish Charlie would have written a book about their time together, I don't really believe all the "Patsy was about to leave Charlie, had she lived". Her actions seemed anything but that!

The Mp3's can be purchased on Amazon. The CD has become kind of rare, going for $25 and up for a VG+ copy.....the 1980 pressing on vinyl is pretty easy to find, the 1988 vinyl pressing (has slightly different cover art) is pretty hard to find, Good Luck

The album was a huge seller and 50 plus years later is very easy to find. My copy is a Canadian pressing that is pristine, but should be valued around $50 or so if it's an Original Decca Pressing in a gatefold cover. Now there was an original pressing that was sealed and the seller wanted $100 for it. It was on there a few years but is now gone. Not sure if it was purchased or if the seller got tired of relisting it. Good Luck

I see all kinds of Patsy CD's with photos of "Patsy" on the cover, when it's actually some broad trying to be Patsy! I'd rather have a really bad painting of Patsy, than some fake woman posing as Patsy
