Vanessa, You are so right!! I DO miss those days so much. Life has gotten busy, but dammit, I never used to be too busy to visit and post here before. I have met some of the best and most important people in my life on this forum. Maybe Kitten Kat needs to return for another few episodes.. It is too quiet here. You are right about not letting the bad events of the past ruin things. Besides, the perpeturators of that stuff seem to have gone by the wayside, as they should have. It's time for us to just get back to Patsy!

Bill, Beautiful job on the pics! I remain amazed and humbled that we all as fans were able to put these precious items in the Ryman. I've been back over for another show, and it is so wonderful to see people looking at the display and talking about Patsy, who this is all for. It has been especially wonderful to see young people interested, and enjoying it. This is the reason for it all; to share Patsy, and our love for her. These items are home at the Ryman; it has been incredible..

Bill, Thanks for posting this. Indeed, it was an honor to be there. It was a beautifiul way to spend such an otherwise sad day, and I can't think of a better way to pay tribute to Patsy. The folks at the Ryman are wonderful, and a real class act. I was totally humbled by the experience, and Mandy blew the doors off the joint with her singing!!

Gotta agree here.... The Cline is in a class of her own, and the only one who comes close is Mandy Barnett. She is really something. Saw her at the Opry, and she damn near blew the back doors out of the place. Patsy would approve!!!

It's just sad, but not surprising. Without leadership and direction, it is certainly hard to move forward. Not much to say about it, except could they not have used a different picture in the listing?? The one with the sad banner announcing the museum is just so wrong; it adds insult to injury... Ugh.

So well said.... Patsy had a certain nuance, a charisma that made her so special. She simply felt her songs..
There will never be another.....

Howdy! I'm still alive, just busy as a one armed paper hanger. I'm in grad school at Vanderbilt, and working full time, but I do miss everyone around here!
Can't wait for APC, I'm so excited!!! ;D

I would have to say the stories about what a good friend she was to those she cared about, and her big heart...

It is my total pleasure to share these pictures. I'm so glad that Marty Stuart treasures the history of great legends, and takes the time to collect and then share them.
The whole exhibit was incredible. It included things from Johnny Cash, Elvis, George Jones, Loretta, Roy Rogers, and countless others.
Of course, I spent the most time at Patsy's exhibit, and it was heartbreaking to read that letter. It makes you think, again, of what could have been if only....
Anyway, I wish that Marty would take this exhibit on the road nation-wide.
I'm glad that I had the opportunity to see it, and I'm so happy to be able to share it with all of you.
Please enjoy!!
Happy New Year to All, Theresa
