A small town in Germany close to the border with Poland has a Country and Western society that was founded in the early 1960's by people who listened "illegally" to American Forces Network.
On the 6th of March 2011 they held a simple tribute for Patsy during a church service. A lady in her 60's sang "If I Could See the World thro' the Eyes of a Child" , A new candle was lit from an old candle and then a 12 year old girl sang " Life is like a Mountain Railroad"
The words were translated into German and printed for the congregation to read as the songs were sung.
Bernard Green Bedfordshire UK 48 years an admirer of Patsy's talent.
