A small town in Germany close to the border with Poland has a Country and Western society that was founded in the early 1960's by people who listened "illegally" to American Forces Network. On the 6th of March 2011 they held a simple tribute for Patsy during a church service. A lady in her 60's sang "If I Could See the World thro' the Eyes of a Child" , A new candle was lit from an old candle and then a 12 year old girl sang " Life is like a Mountain Railroad" The words were translated into German and printed for the congregation to read as the songs were sung.
