Ladies I feel belong in The Country Music Hall Of Fame are Skeeter Davis (I feel Ralph Emery has a big hand in why she isn't in there yet), Dottie West, Lynn Anderson, Sammi Smith, Bonnie Owens, Donna Fargo, June Carter Cash, Jan Howard, Jeannie Seely, Lacy J. Dalton, Juice Newton, Jessi Colter, The Kendalls (duo of Royce & Jeannie Kendall), Maybelle Carter (as a solo artist, "Mother" Maybelle is very much an influence because of being an awesome guitarist), Barbara Fairchild, Jeannie C. Riley, ....plus so many others. I have no clue why so many country ladies haven't been inducted, Dottie West now has been gone for over 25 years, sad, but she has been over looked for so long, so deserving. Skeeter Davis was having songs cross over around the same time as Patsy (who is constantly being named as the first to cross over to pop), but Skeeter did before her as half of The Davis Sisters in 1953 with "I Forgot More Than You'll Ever Know" (#1 country, #18 pop), plus her 1963 smash "The End Of The World", which is still being used in multiple TV shows and films....I could go on and on...
